Experienced Trauma Trainer with Three Decades in the Child Welfare System

And more than a decade of hands-on experience in trauma training. I have been passionately committed to equipping families and professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to increase resiliency and growth. In 2013 and 2014, I had the honor of helping roll out the very first trauma training initiative for the Wisconsin Trauma Program, providing essential training to all Child Welfare Workers across the state of Wisconsin. This groundbreaking program set the foundation for improving trauma-informed practices statewide. The last decade, I am proud to serve with the Wisconsin Child Welfare Professional Development team, continuing to contribute to the development of professionals dedicated to child welfare and trauma care. My journey has granted me the opportunity to write evidence based trauma curricula and train trauma to all new Child Welfare workers in Wisconsin.  Our focus is developmental childhood trauma and it's impact on the regulatory system. As well as, learning how to foster the co-regulation experience for healing developmental trauma.
